What is online tutoring?

Online tutoring is the use of internet for educational purposes. The tutor teaches through instant voice chat, where s/he can be able to work together with the student online in real time. The use of an electronic whiteboard allows both the tutor and the student to share their screen for writing, drawing and typing purposes. The web-based whiteboard software replaces the chalkboard in a traditional classroom.

Does INSAF Provide text books?

INSAF will provide examiner recommended text books if the student requires, at an extra fee (The price will include postage and packaging for UK/EU/Rest of the World). Printable course notes will be made available to use with your LIVE sessions at NO extra cost, and Course Exercises will be provided to submit for marking with feedback.

How does INSAF online tutoring differ from other online educational material?

1. We provide the first of its kind one-2-one sessions and SMALL VIRTUAL GROUP lessons, live and online which allows you to interact with your personal tutor through TWO-WAY voice chat and interactive whiteboard.

2. You will receive PERSONALISED GUIDANCE from our expert tutors who will have a TAILOR-MADE teaching plan developed exclusively for you.

3. We do NOT provide RECORDED tuition.

4. We do NOT web-cast (live streaming) the classes where the tuition can only be WATCHED by the students rather than active participation.

When do the programmes start ?

INSAF's one-to-one tuition can be requested at any time of the year. As such, students can also enroll at any level, for any subject and flexibly arrange a time convenient for them. Group lessons start after each exam season, ie, after June and December for ACCA, after May and November for CIMA and so on.

For which courses does INSAF provide virtual tuition?

Currently one-on-one tutoring available for:
I.    Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
II.   Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
III.  Association of Business Executives (ABE).
IV.  Certified Accounting Technicians (CAT) by ACCA.
V.   AS and A2 level Accountancy, Economics and Business studies.

What are the technical requirements?

I.   A PC/Laptop.
II.  Internet connection (Broadband preferred).
III. Headset OR Microphone.
IV. Computer mouse
V.  A messenger system, such as Skype.
